Regulation of Neuropeptide Y and Leptin on Feeding Behavior in Animals

Abstract: Feed intake is one of the most important factors which affect the production performance of livestock. Many kinds of peptides regulating appetite can affect feed intake in animals. This paper concisely reviews the structural functions of neuropeptide Y and leptin and their regulatory effects on feeding behavior. And the interactions between them were summarized.
