Abstract: The aim of this study was to assess the effect of different forage-to-concentrate ratios in diets of hybrids of Tan sheep~ Small-tailed Han sheep on reproductive performance, healthy status and fattening economic benefit. A total of 48 healthy weaned hybrid lambs were randomly assigned to three groups and were fed with the pelleted total mixed ration. The forage-to-concentrate ratio in diet of the three groups were 65:35, 60:40 and 55:45, respectively. The results showed that the fattening hybrid lambs fed the diet with the three designed forage-to-concentrate ratios were all in healthy status; the hybrid lambs fed diet with forage-to- concentrate ratio of 60:40 had the best growth performance and the highest fattening economic benefit; the recommended fattening period was approximately 60 days.
