Abstract: In order to diagnose a cat with claudication caused by high falling, basic clinical examination, laboratory examination and DR imaging examination were performed. The confirmative diagnosis was made as comminuted femoral condyle fracture of left hind limb. According to the examination, the surgical treatment plan was determined, and the cross-Kirschner needle combined with tension screw was used for surgical internal fixation. Return visit showed that the fractured end of the cat healed well, and the motor function gradually restored. It is indicated that the above fracture fixation method is effective.
