Abstract: In the trial, wastes from the cattle and sheep's butchery in Xining region was selected as research material and investigated to reduce environmental pollution and take comprehensive utilization. The composition of wastes were analyzed, and the comparative test between natural fermentation and enzyme microorganism fermentation was made. The results showed that there were 0.83 % N, 0.23 % P205, 0.67 % K2O, 52.18 % organic matter, total amount of organic 69.59 %, 52.66 % moisture, 30.41% ash in wastes. The conclusion can be made that there were multi-nutrient elements and high organic matter content in wastes, the fermentation time can be shortened by enzyme microorganism fermentation.
