  • Effect of Population Density on Assimilate Accumulation in High Starch Maize Kernel in Cold Region

    High starch maize hybrid Si-dan 19 was used to investigate the effect of population density (45000,60000,75000, 90000plants/hm2) on assimilates accumulation and transformation at grain filling stage in cold region.The results showed that: Increasing of starch contents are similar to decreasing of soluble sugar contents with the increasing of plant density,which indicated that soluble sugar transformed starch. Free amino acid contents and slouble protein contents are unacted on plant density at grain filling stage.At early grain filling stage fat contents decreased,but at mid-late grain filling stage fat contents increased with the increasing of plant density.

    A scheme of orthogonal test, which includes 4 factors and 3 levels, was designed, in which Maize Varieties,Sowing date,Density and fertilizer Varieties and Quantity. The results show that the technical formula for the Maize variety "Chidan 202"which reached above 734.5 kg per 667m2, has been designed as: sowing on May 5,3600 plants per 667m2,and appling urea fertilizer 30kg per 667mE.The technical formula for the Maize variety "Chizao 5" which reached above 692.3 kg per 667m2,has been designed as: sowing during April 25 to May10,3600 plants per 667m2, and appling urea fertilizer 40kg per 667m2.The technical formula for the Maize variety"Chidan 661"which reached above 784.5 kg per 667mE,has been designed as:sowing on May 5,3200 plants per 667m2,and appling urea fertilizer 40kg per 667m2.

    The studies on effects of planting dates to yield and quality of B.juncea Czern Coss.Spring rape were conducted.The results showed that mid-April to early May sowing could not only increase the spring rape yield but also improve the quality and induced the incidence of the spring rape.Delayed sowing, the post of growing meet the hot and rainy weather, incidence of spring rape obvious increased,seriously affect the yield and quality.but,because the temperature rise,emergence speed up,Timely sowing in the local is one of the measures to ensure high yield production.

    Eleven Varieties of Mung Bean were used in this study to conduct a analysis on main economics characters relevant to grain yields.The results show that: increase of plant pod numbers and improvement of plant height was advantageous to increase of grain yields.Grain yields was improved with increase of days of flowering to bearing pods.Grain yields was reduced with increase numbers of first branchy stem. Reduction of days of bearing pods to ripening was advantageous to increase of grain yields.Betwee grain yields and others characters was small relations.and selecting height plant and increasing numbers of bearing pod was effective ways to improve grain yields.To increase days of flowering to bearing pods could improve grain yields.To reducing days of bearing pods to mature period and numbers of first branchy stem could indirectly improve grain yields.     From 2010 to 2011, a variety test on 18 domestic and overseas alfalfa varieties such as Golden Queen, Three Profits and Farmers was conducted on the moderate saline-alkali land in Datong Basin. The germination rate, emergence rate and fresh forage yield of various varieties were compared. The dry weight/fresh weight ratio of forage for each variety was determined in 2011, and a comparative analysis was conducted to the dry forage yields of the varieties. The results showed that Golden Queen, Three Profits and Farmers had good adaptability for cold and salinity resistance and obvious yield-improving strength in moderate saline-alkali soil. Therefore we suggest that Golden Queen, Three Profits and Farmers be wildly promoted in mild to moderate saline-alkali soil in Datong Basin and other areas, so as to raise the effectiveness of cultivation.

    In order to solve the problem of weed damage in wheat field of conservational tillage in Hulunbeier area, increase wheat yield and farmers' income,eight chemical herbicides were choose to control the weed of wheat filed before the sowing and in the seedling stage. The results showed that: Chenopodium album, Polygonum convolvulus L,tall lattuce flower and leaf and green bristlegrass were dominant species of wheat field with conservational tillage in Hulunbeier area, lyme grass and salsola were the subdominule.The eight chemical herbicides all can be used to control the weed in wheat field and the control effects of mixed several herbicides were better than the single use of each herbicide.The effects on wheat yield had the same order with the effects on control effects,they both showed Glyphosate combined with 2,4-D-Butyr and puma super〉2,4-D-Butyr combined with Puma super〉Humai combined with Puma super〉10 percent of Yikuoning combined with Puma super〉2,4-D-Butyr~Puma super〉MCPA-Na〉Glyphosate〉Humai〉Pardner〉10 percent of Yikuoning〉Kuoyeku. The treatment which used several herbicides can be choose first,then were the 2,4-D-Butyr, Puma super, MCPA-Na and Glyphosate,10 percent of Yikuoning and Kuoyeku can ' t be used.

    The use of Yakeshi city 1961-2010 year annual average temperature, annual precipitation,wind,frost-free days of Yakeshi city in recent 50 years climate change and drought waterlogging occurrence characteristics.
