Abstract

Abstract: Estrus synchronization and artificial insemination are commonly used as a pair of matching technologies in sheep breeding. In view of the uneven estrus synchronization rate and conception rate in practical production, the estrus synchronization method of ＂CIDR ＋PMSG ＋PG＂ is introduced and the technical details of estrus synchronization and artificial insemination are expounded, and the factors influencing the application effect of estrus synchronization and artificial insemination in sheep are analyzed. Furthermore, according to the frequently encountered questions in production, the suggestion that the estrus synchronization should be applied based on sheep body condition and management condition is proposed.
