Abstract: Flavonoids from Scutellaria baicalensis mainly consist of baicalin, wogonin, baicalein and scutellarein, which have many physiological activities such as lipid-lowering, anti-thrombotic and anti-oxidant effects. In this paper, the main components, extraction technology and influencing factors of flavonoids in Scutellaria baicalensis are reviewed, in hoping to provide theoretical references for rational use of flavonoids in clinical practice.
