  • Adaptability Analysis of Different Oil Sunflower Varieties to Saline-Alkali Soil

    In order to evaluate the adaptability of different oil sunflower varieties to saline-alkali soil in He Tao area of Inner Mongolia,twenty one varieties of sunflower from domestic and abroad were chosen to cultivate on saline-alkali in the irrigated area. The main agronomic traits were evaluated by principal component analysis, cluster analysis and stepwise regression analysis.The results showed that the cumulative contribution rate of factors of growth days,plant height,stem diameter,head diameter,their component reached 91.23%, and in principal components classify, the first category was individual factor,the second was the factor of yield component,the third was single head factor,the fourth was growth period factor. In the cluster analysis,when the threshold value was 1 280,twenty one of varieties were divided into three categories,the first category contained 7 varieties with the performances of moderate-late-maturity,black seeds,strong haulm, larger disc diameter, and the rate of seed kernel was more than 70%,the 100-seed weight was 6g. A total of 11 varieties belonged to the second category, and the performance trait were early maturity, short stem,leaf upword,stem stocky,dense planting,grain black, the rate of seed kernel was more than 70%, 100-seed weight was 7g. The third category contains 3 varieties and were characterized by early maturity,short stalk,high seed setting rate. In stepwise regression analysis, significant linear effect was observed between the yield and the stem diameter ,disc diameter,single plate grain number,single plate grain weight,100-seed weight and rate of seed kernel.

    To find the best combination of the highest seed setting rate and yield,experiments on different varieties,sowing date,density and fertilization was performed in six factors and five levels,the results showed that the varieties 0103-3,sowing date on May 20,667m^2 sowing quantity was 3.0 kg, 6.6 kg nitrogen and P2O5 2.0kg,K2O 4.5kg,yield reached the highest; Variety 0103-3,sowing date on May 30,667m^2 sowing quantity was 3kg,no nitrogen,2kg P2O5,K2O 3kg,seed setting rate reached the highest.Factors affecting the yield of buckwheat as follow:varieties〉sowing date〉sowing quantity〉phosphate〉nitrogen〉potash.

    Study on the influence of seed germination and seedling growth of Pumpkin under the treatments with Naphthylacetate of different concentration,so as to provide references for improving the germination rate, germinating performance, how to save seed cost and shortening the cycle of breeding seedlings.The results showed that NAA of 10 -8mg/L could increase the germination rate,root length,lateral root number,chlorophyll content and root activity.

    Taking drinking water in Hohhot area as the research object,using the means of risk assessment,The hazard identification,hazard description, exposure assessment and risk description,four aspects of nitrate in water hazard factor were described to carry on the scientific evaluation,determine the risk quotient (HQ) was 34.4%.Nitrate subacute toxicological experiment was carried out at the same time,the results showed that: based on the dietary exposure to low dose group,alkaline phosphatase (ALKP),lactate dehydrogenase (LDH),aspartate aminotransferase (AST),UREA (UREA) was higher than the control group, and extremely significant difference (P<0.01);Based on the dietary exposure to high levels of drug group,globulin (GLOB), lactate dehydrogenase (LDH),aspartate aminotransferase (AST),alanine aminotransferase (ALT),blood phosphorus (P),UREA (UREA) was higher than the control group, and extremely significant difference (P<0.01).
    Comparative Study on Antibacterial Effects of Plant Extracts from Different Parts of Epipremnum aureum

    Filter paper dispersion method was used to determine the antibacterial effects of the ethanol extracts of different parts of Epipremnum aureum, on Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli and Bacillus subtilis. The minimum inhibitory concentrations (MIC) of different parts of Epipremnum aureum were also determined by the liquid suspension culture method. The results showed the ethanol extractions of different parts of Epipremnum aureum all expressed certain bacteriostatic activity. The radicular and cauline extractions of Epipremnum aureum showed similar bacteriostasis and were both better than leaf. The different parts of Epipremnum aureum extractions bacteriostatic activity was Staphylococcus aureus〉Escherichia coli〉Bacillus subtilis. The same parts of Epipremnum aureum extractions differed in the MIC to various bacterial.

    It has a large-scale cultivation of sunflower in Hetao irrigation district which lead to a serious disease problem during planting process.Therefore,10 suitable sunflowers cultivars collected and introduced for planting and experiment in Hetao irrigation district.The purpose of experiment were identified the disease resistance,mature,morphological characteristics and yield.The results showed that 10 sunflowers cultivars had weak resistance and susceptible to Sunflower sclerotinia rot.The incidence of Verticillium Wilt was more than 20% at the end of flowering stage;furthermore,the disease index of selected varieties'Verticillium Wilt was between 1 -2 levels which showed the medium disease resistance.In addition, through experimental observation and data analysis,DRZ1027、DRZ1028 and DRZ1025 were relatively better than other cultivars in Hetao irrigation district,which showed high yield, better synthetic character in biological traits,economy traits and commodity traits,and lower incidence of Sunflower sclerotinia rot at the end stage.

    Cucumber was a popular vegetable and was year-round supplied in north of China. Regenerations of variety and technology could raise income of vegetable farmers and protect the market supply. In present study, three varieties of cucumber, De′er JDT, De′er 2010 and Jinyou 35 were recommended as the important popularized variety in Hohhot by introduction and screen for the new cucumber variety during autumn and winter of 2011 and spring of 2012. It is of great significance to determine the new variety for the technology and extension department and vegetable farmers.

    With different substratum and different concentration of Abt solution on Salix psammophila cutting experiments, it showed that: river sand is the best substrate on cutting propagation of Salix psammophila,the garden soil was worse substrate,the mixed(turf∶garden soil=1∶1) was the worst substrate. Different growth regulator on Salix psammophila has no effects.

    For achieving the recommended fertilization to the rainfed potato in Guyang County,the 17 items dry farming potato soil-test-fertilization of '3414' farming experiments were summarized and analyzed.The results showed that the fertilization increasing effects order was N〉P〉K.N fertilizer had the best effect,then the P and K fertilizer.Although the soil has higher K content,K fertilizer has better significant synergies for soil.The results proved that N fertilizer was the most significant nutritive factor which make effects to rainfed potato production at north of Yin mountain.Furthermore,with fertilizing amount increased the fertilizing use rate and agronomic efficiency reduced at 3 fertilizer gradients.On average,to increase 13.1kg potato yield need 1 kg N fertilizer;1kg P2O5 for 24.2kg potato;1kg K2O for 21.3kg potato.According to the NPK fertilizer experiment of fertilizer effect equation,the soil productivity of rainfed potato were lower than 400kg/667m^2,between 400-600kg/667m^2 and 600-800kg/667m^2, and higher than 800kg/667m^2, respectively.These research results could give the recommended fertilization to rainfed potato in Guyang County.
    Control Efficiency of Clethodim(Selectone) 240g/L EC to the gramineous Weeds in Sunflower Field

    For the purpose of enhancing the selectivity of herbicides in controlling gramineous weeds in sunflower fields, delay the development of resistance in weeds and prolong the action time of herbicides, field trial was conducted to investigate the control efficiencies of clethodim(Selectone) 240g/L EC 45-100ml/667m 2 and with anequivalent dose of Amigo adjuvantin 2012. Results showed that the tested single herbicide has good field performance in terms of readily availability, persistence and control efficiency in controlling annual gramineous weeds,the control efficiencies in 15d and 35d after treated are both above 94.3%, similar to the controlagents Haloxyfop-p-methyl 10.8%EC and Quizalofop-p-ethyl 10%EC.In case of perennial reed, the fresh weight control efficiencies of clethodim 35d after treatedare from 56.9%to 76.5%, not as good as the control agents Haloxyfop-p-methyl 10.8%EC and Quizalofop-p-ethyl 10%EC,88.9%and 91.6%respectively. However, after the addition of adjuvant, the fresh weight control efficiencies of clethodim at different dosage levels are significantly increased, which are from 56.9%to 76.5%35d after treated. Especially at the dosage of 80ml/667m^2 and 100ml/667m^2 and, both control efficiencies were above 93.1%,better than the control agents and safely to sunflower.

    Sugar beet is one of the important raw materials in the sugar industry,In our country, low per unit area yield and low sugar content become important restrict factors in the production of sugar beet. Four aspects of the relationship between root weight and sugar content, the impact of varieties on root growth and sugar content, the relationship between photosynthetic characteristics and growth of root and sugar content, the impact of plant growth regulators on root and sugar content were summarized in this article. The idea would be provided for researching root yield and sugar content in the future.

    In order to provide the basis for air pollution meteorological condition and air quality forecast, the influence of meteorological factors, such as average daily wind speed, average daily ground temperature, average daily vapor pressure, average daily air temperature and average daily relative humidity, on the air quality index (AQI) was studied by grey correlation analysis based on the meteorological observation data collected by meteorological bureau and the AQI released by environmental protection department in the spring (from March to May) of Hohhot. The result showed that the meteorological factors were able to influence the AQI. The impact of the factors on the AQI was average daily wind speed〉average daily relative humidity〉average daily vapor pressure〉average daily air temperature〉average daily ground temperature.
    Relationship between Developmental Phases of Leymus Chinensis and Meteorological Factors in Inner Mongolia Natural Grasslands-A Case Study in Evenk Autonomous County

    In order to provide scientific basis for rational utilizing of grassland,improving forage yield in per unit area and addressing climate change,the key meteorological factors influencing the community characteristics of Leymus Chinensis in Evenk Autonomous County meadow steppe,the northeast part of Inner Mongolia, were revealed by correlation analysis between the changing law of growth and development of Leymus Chinensis community and meteorological factors.The results showed that heading date and grain mature date could be influenced by a number of factors.Other meteorological factors were found to have great impact on growth and development of Leymus Chinensis in spite of the positive relationship between the time of heading date and grain maturity date.By the comparative analysis based on mass data,we found that single factors,temperature or precipitation had different influences on the time of Leymus Chinensis developmental phases.Temperature or precipitation showed positive effects on growth and development of Leymus Chinensis in late-April to mid-May.Earlier heading trends of Leymus Chinensis could be observed with high temperatures and high precipitation when other conditions were constant. Temperature or precipitation at the basic level in Late-June to Late-July showed negative effects on growth and development of Leymus Chinensis.High temperatures and precipitation resulted in the later grain maturity.
    Statistical Analysis of Relationship between the Lowest Ground Temperature and the Minimum Temperature

    Based on the continuously observed cloud data collected from Wulatezhong county from 2005 to 2011 and Linhe district from 2006 to 2008, the annual and monthly mean value of difference value between the lowest ground temperature and the minimum temperature during 2 am to 7 am at night in the above two regions were analyzed by using mathematical statistics method and meteorology principle. The results showed that there was positively related linear relation between the lowest ground temperature and the minimum temperature both in Wulatezhong county and Linhe district, and the relation between them was closely related to the different weather conditions but was little related to the differences between various observation stations and spring and autumn. Based on the individual similar effect of various weather conditions on the difference value between the lowest ground temperature and the minimum temperature, four forecasting models of the lowest ground temperature on the basis of the minimum temperature were established. The result of correlation test of the models proved the good consistency between them and the established formula passed the significance test. The model established in this study may provide a reference for the short-term weather forecast in the two regions.

    Based on the annual mean temperature data of Arhorqin Banner Meteorology Burea from 1960 to 2009,the trend of temperature change was analyzed in recent 50 years.The test analysis were conducted on annual mean temperature of whole area with the three methods of Moving test technique,Yamamoto methods and Mann-Kendall methods.It showed that:on the timescale of 50 years, there was an obvious truth of warming and abrupt change on the temperature of Arhorqin Banner,abrupt change point was 1987.

    Based on data of monthly average maximum temperature, minimum temperature and daily temperature range of Hulunbuir for 53 years from 1961 to 2013,using of method of test of significance, the change trend of monthly average maximum temperature, minimum temperature and daily temperature range in the area were researched. The results showed that: the monthly maximum temperature of every stations showed a increased trend except some stations showed a downward trend in January and December, and there was a significant upward trend in 5,7,8,9 months, the most significant in August and through the significance test of 0.001 in vast majority of stations; The monthly minimum temperature of every stations showed a increased trend except Manzhouli and Eerguna showed a downward trend in January, and the most stations each month through the significance test of 0.01 in addition to several western stations was not significant in1,2and 12 months, the most significant in3,4,5 and 6 months through the significance test of 0.001.The average diurnal temperature range showed a downward trend at most stations in other months of the year except that most stations was increasing trend in 8 and 9 months. Under the background of global climate warming, the monthly minimum temperature rise around is more obvious than the maximum temperature in Hulunbuir, the average rate of change was 0.20-0.40℃, (10a)-1; The diurnal change trend of temperature was decreased because that the minimum temperature increase was significantly higher than that of the highest temperature; The diurnal temperature range were between 11-17℃,it is larger in the north and east station in between 15-17℃,the rest area is 11-13℃.

    In order to simplify the operation program of potato planting, the effect of extensive and general cultivation method was compared in this study. The results showed that it was unnecessary to perforate with the punch and two labors were saved in extensive planting in the middle-sized shed with double plastic film covered, indicating that it was a labor saving method for potato planting.

    Eggplant continuous cropping is vulnerable to be infected by diseases,through years of cultivation practice proved that using grafting technology can solve that effectively.The key points of cultivation was as followed:first,selection varieties, accelerating seed germination, sowing,grafting, complete the eggplant grafted seedling;second,soil preparation and fertilizing, planting,and control temperature and humidity,light, fertilizer, management of plant adjustment at healing period and after healing;at last,harvest at node using scientific and rational techniques to achieve the high harvest goal.

    The genes of plants were differently expressed in various phases of growth、development and multiplication and in different cells. In recent years, numerous methods used to investigate the gene differential expression were developed. Suppression Subtractive Hybridization (SSH), developed in 1996, is a technique with high efficiency for isolation differently expressed genes at transcriptional level, combining subtractive hybridization with PCR, and its principle can be summarized as eliminating homologous sequences and enriching different sequences. SSH is able to isolate the differently expressed genes in one cycle, especially for genes expressed with low abundance. The features that high specificity, simple operation, low false positive rate and good repeatability make it widely applied in the differential expression genes separation despite of some defects. In recent years, SSH has been applied in studies on induced expression of plant disease resistant genes, with most focus on cDNA library construction and screen. The principle, main advantages and defects, and application progress in mechanism study on plants disease resistance were reviewed in this paper.

    Through investigation wild plant resources in Greater Khingan Tayuan farm, the plant resources of forest tower source were understood. The results showed that there are 66 plant species, belonging to 29 families and 60 genera, among which there are 32 dominant species. With analysis of the distribution of wild plant resources in plots, and the relevant research of these plants, technical support were provided for the development and application wild plants of Greater Khingan Tayuan forest.
