    The study on the rotate cropping of potato and green manure was carried out in the dry land in the North foot of Yinshan Mountain.The results showed that the yield of hairy vetch and common vetch were increased by 13%-36.0% after applying N and P fertilizer and the effect was larger on the common vetch yield.The residual effect of balanced fertilizer on the potato yield is as good as in the treatment of applying DAP in the green manure.The effect of green manure on the yield of potato was not obvious.When the N fertilizer application was deceased 30% the yield of potato was not decreased significantly.So the N fertilizer applying can be decreased by 30% after green manure cropping.

    To study the genetic diversity of sugar beets,four lines of sugar beet markedly distinct in phenotype were used to screen 88 pairs of SRAP primers,and 33 pairs of SRAP primers with high polymorphism and good stability were selected and used to analyze the genetic diversity of 72 beets lines which were representation in the North China.The result as following: A total of 604 SRAP bands(including 319 polymorphic bands) were detected and the average ratio of polymorphic SRAP bands was 53.0%.The materials tested were divided into four groups based on cluster analysis.The materials with the same origin and similar biological character were clustered into one group first.In the dendrogram,none of the domestic line was clustered into foreign's.The highest genetic similarity occurred between foreign lines introduced(0.8552),followed monogerm lines(0.8009) and then polyembryony Diploid lines(0.7068),the lowest polyembryony tetraploid lines(0.6592).Each of the foreign lines has only 8-12 SRAP bands,while the line of North China has 13-25 bands,it shows that there are definite difference between beets with foreign genetic back-ground and genetic background of North China.

    This studied yield characters and resistance of four Avena sativa and five Avena nuda.This results revealed that the production of Avena sativa was lower than the production of Avena nuda,the resistance of Avena sativa was stronger than Avena nuda,especially the lodging capacity.RAPD(random amplified polymorphic DNA) was used to research the genetic diversity of Nine Avena.The result showed:From 50 primers,6 RAPD primers was selected,which have richful polymorphism and stable results.Nine Avena germplasm resources with different characteristics were analyzed with those 6 selected RAPD primers.Of 68 DNA fragments,33 DNA fragments had been genetic diversity with 48.5%polymorphism rate and 5.5 loci of every site.The large genetic distance was 0.087~0.496 between Avena sativa and Avena nuda.While genetic distances of Avena nuda were shorter,they were 0.023~0.117 and 0.040~0.298.The UPGAM analysis showed that 9 materials could be divided into 3 types at the genetic distance of 0.26.This results are consistent with the actual.

    Efficiency and integrated comparative advantages indices、scale advantages index and concentration index were calculated from the statistical data of 19 townships in agricultural production between 2002 and 2008.The information illustrated potato production status of comparative advantage of 19 townships in Xiji County.The results showed that:there were basically 5 townships of comparative advantage in scale、efficiency and integrated advantage;The distribution of the comparative advantage、 the scale advantage area,concentration edge area,the comprehensive advantages is same.the areas were distributed primarily over the(semi-wet area),gourd river Road area,western semi-arid loess hilly region.The main towns are:Xin-ying,Ji-qiang,Subu,Pian-cheng,Huo-shizhai.

    The effects of different fertilizer on the growth,development and quality were studied through field trials by the randomized block design.The results showed that as compared with the CK,the bio-organic compound fertilizer could improve the physical character of soil and ensure growth steadily to form perfect plant figure.It decreased protein content and the difference between total sugar and reducing sugar,while harmonizing the ratio of nitrogen to nicotine and the ratio of total sugar to nicotine,so it improved the chemical quality.The T7 could increase the yield of total leaves and mid-upper leaves significantly.
