Abstract: The position and function of biological technology in the natural science were introduced. The discipline orientation and training objectives of biological technology specialty were confirmed. The consensus of biological technology education and construction were summarized. The main problems in the construction of biological technology specialty in local teachers colleges and universities and main ways of characteristic cultivation were put forward.
