Abstract: Sheep and Goat Production is a main course for animal science major in agricultural colleges and universities which emphasizes the combination of theoretical knowledge and practical ability.In the current teaching environment,this course is challenging for both professors and students.In view of the existing problems during the teaching process,such as wide coverage of content,strong practicality and limited class hours,this paper makes a reform exploration on the curriculum of Sheep and Goat Production from the following aspects:expanding teaching content,innovating the teaching methods,and reforming the examination system.Through the implementation of teaching reform measures,the teaching quality of this course has been significantly improved,laying a good foundation for cultivating high-quality professional and technical personnel to adapt to the modern sheep and goat industry.
