Abstract: Outcome based education （OBE） is a student-oriented and outcome-based education model. In this study, the teaching mode of OBE was introduced into the theoretical teaching of Animal Epidemic Diseases Prevention and Control Technology. By fully demonstrating the teaching objectives, reassembling knowledge modules, introducing relevant enterprise technology lecturers into the classroom, and comprehensively evaluating the teaching results, we concluded that under this educational model, students＇ learning objectives are clearer, the social needs and university＇s personnel training are plenitudinously integrated, and satisfied teaching results are achieved.
