Abstract: In order to resolve some problems existing in the theoretical and laboratory teaching of Veterinary Biologicology, some methods improving the quality of teaching were adopted, such as compiling the syllabus, optimizing teaching methods, utilizing multi- media and reforming evaluation of examination. Meanwhile methods and tools in the teaching of experimental lessons were regulated, furthermore students were encouraged to get involved in the preparation of experimental lessens, culture the sense of safety and improve the ability to carry on the experiment so as to strengthen their comprehensive practice ability. The basic achievement and experience during the teaching reform were summarized in the paper, and the existing problems were evaluated in order to provide suggestions for further impel the university-level reforms in teaching.
