The Differences of the Veterinary Pathology Teaching between Chinese and American Universities

Abstract: Veterinary Pathology, which is the "bridge course" between basic veterinary medicine and clinical veterinary medicine,is a basic course of veterinary medicine and focuses on pathogenesis of animal diseases. In recent years, in order to improve the practice ability of veterinary graduates, reforms on the teaching of Veterinary Pathology has been performed in Chinese universities and some progress has been made. However, there is still a gap between the actual teaching effect and expectation. In order to provide references for the teaching of Veterinary Pathology in China, the differences of the Veterinary Pathology teaching between Heilongjiang Bayi Agricultural University and Cornell University are taken as example to elaborate the differences of the Veterinary Pathology teaching between Chinese and American universities.
