Abstract: Animal Quantitative Genetics is a professional basic course of animal science major and plays an important role in teaching of animal science major related courses. Recently, with the development of computer technology, multimedia technology has been widely applied in the teaching of Animal Quantitative Genetics. In this paper, the advantages and disadvantages of application of multimedia technology in Animal Quantitative Genetics teaching were analyzed and the advises for improvement of teaching quality in future were proposed combining with the teaching practice, so as to make better use of multimedia technology for the teaching ofA nimal Quantitative Genetics.
