Abstract: Laboratory Animal Science is multidisciplinary involving in a wide range of content. How to organize and optimize the teaching content is crucial for the teaching of this course. We introduced the experiences in organization and optimization of teaching content of Laboratory A nimal Science in major of animal pharmacy in College of Animal Science and Technology, Henan University of Science and Technology. We proposed some principles that basic knowledge should serve as core, specialty training goal should serve as criterion, and professional curriculums structure should serve as reference, so as to provide help for the selection of teaching content of Laboratory A nimal Science in related colleges.
