Abstract: The development process of pratacultural science discipline in Yunnan Agricultural University is introduced,the measures to promote the discipline development such as optimizing teaching staff and integrating resources were expounded,and the achievements in discipline construction were elaborated.We propose that the introduction and cultivation of high-level talents are the have-to-take way for the development of pratacultural science discipline;the priority given by leadership,the team cooperation and the joint education by universities,scientific research institutions and enterprises are critical points for the development of pratacultural science discipline;resource integration,team optimization and opportunities grasp are important measures to accelerate the development of pratacultural science discipline.
