Abstract: In an attempt to adapt to the demand on cultivation of innovative professional talents in veterinary medicine in 21^st century, we analyzed the main problems existing in practice teaching of clinical veterinary medicine as well as the necessity of its teaching reform, and explored a number of implementation schemes on clinical practice teaching reform. The experimental teaching system of ＂three levels, multiple-layered, double targets＂ was established. A series of flexible teaching methods, including combination of social practice and teaching practice, introduction of case-study teaching practice, were applied. Meanwhile, a new practical teaching evaluation system was established. These reforms stimulated the learning interest and motivation of the undergraduates, and the obvious teaching effect were achieved.
