Construction of Two-stage Experimental Teaching Model of Basic Verification and Comprehensive Design Experiments in Veterinary Microbiology

Abstract: From 2014 to 2018, the veterinary medicine specialty of Liaocheng University divided the experimental teaching of Veterinary Microbiology into two stages. The first stage mainly offered basic verification experiments to cultivate students' basic operational skills. The second stage offered comprehensive design experiments to cultivate students' scientific research consciousness and team spirit. After exploration and improvement for several years, a relatively mature two-stage experimental teaching mode has been gradually constructed. The application of this teaching mode is conducive to the cultivation of high- quality personnel, and can also provide high-quality applied and scientific research personnel for the animal husbandry and veterinary medicine industry.
